Comfortable apartments accommodate up to six people - including children.<br /><br />The main bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite, second bedroom has its own ensuite and two comfy single beds. This is a three level walk-up resort so get in early with a call to reserve a lower level apartment if you do not wish to take the stairs. All apartments are air-conditioned and have their own telephone, DVD/CD player, washing machine and clothes dryer. You will find the kitchens well equipped, with a fair-sized refrigerator, a microwave, cook top and all the kitchen knick-knacks you need. However, If your idea of a holiday is staying out of the kitchen, there are three good restaurants within easy walking distance and several more a short bus ride away.<br /><br />Magnetic Island is a chance to experience a beautiful environment that seems, in many wonderful ways, magically untouched by time, making it uniquely relaxing and rejuvenating. Much of the Island is forested National Park, complete with wallabies, possums and koalas. Bird life is prolific. Activities include horse riding, golf, jet skiing and snorkelling or scuba diving. If you don't want to go under to see the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, skip across to Townsville to visit the world's largest coral reef aquarium instead. <br /><br />It's all easy from Island Palms.
