Tuncurry Lakes Resort
Resort overview
As the name implies, Tuncurry Lakes Resort is nested in an area endowed with expansive beautiful lakes. On the clean waters of the Myall, Smiths and Wallis Lakes, locals and visitors enjoy sailing, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing and skiing. Seafood lovers’ note: shallow Wallis Lake is one of the largest oyster-producing areas in New South Wales!
The picture-perfect Great Lakes region begins in the south with the twin towns of Tea Gardens and Hawkes Nest, and stretches 100 beautiful kilometres north to the larger twin towns of Forster and Tuncurry. A short trip inland will take you to historic Stroud and the Barrington Tops, so having a car will greatly improve your holiday experience.
Take a scheduled trip or charter a cruise on the Lake or, better still, pump up the fun by hiring a comfortable easy-to-drive small craft and insisting that the family call you captain. All that being said, make sure you allow some time at the Resort, because there are almost unlimited recreational facilities, spanning everything from pools and spas to jumping pillows, bikes and boats…and everything in between.
Tuncurry Lakeside Village, situated on 90 acres of superb waterfront bushland and gardens, is a rural getaway far from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you dream of a relaxing, romantic getaway; or an active, outdoors experience; or maybe a family holiday that combines a little of each this Resort has one of the longest traditions of delivering all that and more!
