Only three and a half hours' drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, lies a wonderful escape from the stress of city life. Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is situated above the quaint and picturesque town of Pilgrims Rest and is close to all of the natural attractions of the Eastern highlands and Kruger National Park. Within 5000 hectares of Game Reserve, with its rich diversity of fauna and flora, are our luxurious, self catering lodges. Man made facilities complement nature with facebrick and thatch , bordered by colourful flowerbeds and ornamental ponds. Facilities make the most of the sweeping views and many activities centre around the great outdoors. The resort boasts five well established and scenic hiking trails. Enjoy a game drive in one of our open vehicles with an experienced game ranger. Game drives can be booked at reception on your arrival at the Resort. For the kids we have a games room with pool tables, table tennis and a wide range of board games are available. We also have a putt-putt course, trampolines, a children's playground, tennis courts and a squash court. The resort has four outdoor swimming pools, one of which is heated to a comfortable swimming temperature.
