If you’re seeking an escape that is centred on natural beauty, the Southern Caribbean is the place for you. Here’s a little taste test of what you can experience: hiking the volcanic mountainscapes of the Pitons, the World Heritage Site on the island of St Lucia; exploring Trinidad’s Aripo Caves or heading into Tobago’s rugged interior and enjoying the waters of the natural pool at the base of the breathtaking three-tiered Argyle Falls. The west is home to some of the Caribbean’s best. Sit back and soak up the sun with all the family in Jamaica’s Montego Bay, discover one of Aruba’s best kept secrets – the natural pools – or visit the Cayman Island’s Seven Mile Beach, rated one of the most spectacular in the Caribbean. If you’re a nature lover, the Dominican Republic is a must. Explore the island’s tropical terrain by buggy or venture into the Caribbean’s largest cave, the 28km long Fun Fun Cave. Double the fun? We like the sound of that.
